September : Cry For You (UK Version) [2008] ------------------------------------------ September est le nom d'artiste de Petra Marklund, chanteuse suédoise de 23 ans. En 2004, elle se fait connaître dans son pays avec la sortie de son premier album éponyme. L'année suivante, elle sort "Satellites", premier extrait de son deuxième album In Orbit. Ce titre la fera connaître à un niveau international puisque le titre sera diffusé dans plusieurs pays, noilavesiksizment en France. Durant l'année suivante, "Satellites" continuera à s'étendre dans d'autres pays, ce qui fait de ce titre son plus gros hit. Quelques singles plus tard, fin 2006, elle sort en Suède le titre "Cry For You", toujours extrait de l'album In Orbit. En mai de l'année suivante, le titre arrive aux Etats-Unis et fait mieux que "Satellites" en étant pendant 2 semaines numéro 1 du Billboard Hot Dance Airplay qui regroupe les titres dance les plus diffusés en radio. Le single sort plus tard aux Pays-Bas où il atteindra la quatrième place des ventes en janvier 2008. "Cry For You" touche maintenant le Royaume-Uni où le single sortira le 7 avril en téléchargement et le 14 en format physique. Pour l'occasion, une nouvelle vidéo a été réalisée. Depuis "Cry For You", September a sorti en september dernier en Suède et en Pologne un troisième album intitulé Dancing Shoes avec le premier single "Can't Get Over" suivi de Until I Die". A noter qu'elle a sorti récemment aux Etats-Unis un premier album intitulé simplement September et qui mélangera des titres extraits des albums In Orbit et Dancing Shoes.
